Q – Do I need to bring my own car?
A – Yes you do. We don’t have cars for hire, although there are plenty of people who hire cars for trackdays (click here) or join one of our supercar experience days (click here).
Q – How old do I need to be?
A – 19 years old
Q – Do I need a driving licence?
A – Yes you do and it needs to have been held for more than 2 years. Please bring it with you.
Q – Does my car need to be insured?
A – It is entirely up to you and at your own risk. You won’t be covered by your own road insurance, so you will need specific trackday insurance if you do!
Q – Does my car need to be road legal?
A – No. But it does have to be road worthy. Any cars dropping oil on the track will be black flagged.
Q – Can I bring my open wheeled car?
A – I’m afraid not. Only closed wheeled cars are allowed on the track at the same time. If you have an MSA licence, why not book a test day with us? Call the office on 01446 796460 for more information.
Q – Do I need to wear a helmet?
A – You do indeed and it must have a Gold British Standard sticker or a Blue over ‘Euro Standard’ label stitched inside. If you don’t have one, we can hire you one on the day for £20.
Q – Can I take passengers?
A – Yes, but they have to be over 14 years old and 1.5m in height. We allow each car participating to have 2 passengers during the day (although only one at a time is permitted!!) and they MUST sign on a get a wrist band at the beginning of the day.
Q – Can I have an extra driver?A – Yes you can, but booking in advance is essential. Limited it to 1 per car and they must be in the same group as the primary driver. They also MUST attend the safety briefing at the beginning of the day. To ensure everyone gets plenty of tracktime, we now only allow 10 extra drivers per day, allocated on a first come first served basis.
Q – Is there a noise limit?
A – We’re afraid so. In consideration to the local community, we operate a self imposed noise limit of 105db absolute maximum. Cars are measured as per MSA Regs i.e 0.5m at an angle of 45 Degrees.
